My last post was about how we see ourselves in others. Have you ever thought about how you see yourself when you are communicating through your phone? Text messages, Instagram, FaceBook posts, SnapChats, Twitter etc. have replaced personal, human-to-human connections.
I am happy to be out of that phase and back to enjoying life as it is not from the way it appears in social media but yes, when I was addicted, it was horrible(now that I look back).. 🙂

It seems like you are connecting when you tweet, share, etc., but are you really? The personal touch or eye contact is worth all the blips from social media!

Cindy – this video is so simple but it nails the communication void that exists today because of smart phones. I consciously try to not look at my phone when I am in line, at a stop light, etc. The down time where I can just allow my mind to wander is wonderful!
